Newbie again, it this possible in lightwave? Continuos lines like in the attached image, or do i have to use some other program. Please if you could explain how to do it. Not sure if I start out in modeler or layout.

Yes you can! lets start simple hit "SHIFT X" this is the box tool drage it out in the back view port hit ENTER then hit te "Q" key this brings up your change surface dialog box. Now hit "CTRL F3"
your surface editor should apear under color select the "T" button. in your image drop down select a file with gradiant that you can make in photo shop then hit the use texture button. you shoud get the effect you are looking for. if you want it to fade use that same gradiant in the transparancy channel dont forget to make the gradiant black and white for the transparancy to work right. |
