Default WHATS going on!

I see a fair amount of activitiy and updates at the simplymaya and max sites but there hasn't been anything new at simplylightwave for what seems like many months.

What is going on? I feel like the commitment to LW users is extremely lacking. It seems like you guys really are not as excited about LW as you appear to be about the other apps. It seems that your commitment is strickly "second fiddle" to LW users.

Why can't we have similar tuts to those on the maya and Max sites? They seem to be much better tuts as far as subject matter. As a simplyLW member, I am very discouraged by this apparent lack of concern for LW users. I sure hope I hear something new and start seeing some more new tuts similar to those on Maya or Max. I am starting to loose faith in this site and may just pass this up as a"DEAD" site as far as LW is concerned. I sure don't have any incentive to buy any more points from you guys. I hope this changes VERY SOON!

Hope you dont mind me adding some comments. I sure would like to see some exciting stuff,, maybe something like the ninja or spider,,, something on that like. I feel overall its too product design type feel to the tutorials.

Lets see, Simplylightwave had 14 messages posted today when I checked today. Simplymaya had 104. If you're in business, which would you support? No that I agree, I think if they'll build the tuts they will come.

Guys no one wants tutorials here more than we do if you note the new news letter we're looking for someone full time to do tutorials.

Were just having problems finding staff, we aware of the problem and are trying to solve it.

You mean Philip isn't the one man tutorial dynamo that I've been lead to believe he is? I've been pretty happy with the stuff he's come out with so far.

Hmm, i thought there are two people here creating tutorials. Guess they are busy and all. Hmm, maybe should get someone like Kurt,,, he seems to blaze through things,,, or maybe he is free and does part time work,,, like me,,, Or then again, get someone who has won the competition to do the tutorials,, i am not talking about others,, but i think there are people who would do tutorials for points.. Yea like me... so that i can buy other tutorials off SimplyMaya... :p

Thanks for the info David. Eargerly waiting to see whos the next one.

My suggestion would be hold a competition for the post,, say a difficult concept given and a limited time,, and then see who are potential and decide from that.

Well, can you a tleast tell us if any new tuts for LW are in the works and what there subject matter will be (like you do with Maya)? Heck, I don't even get the LW newsletter any more!

I guess that means there is nothing new coming down the pipes.
