Hello,

I've seen that there's not to much "movement" in the forum. I've set "show threads from last 20 days" and there was just a few messages.

I'm worried. Is the comunity going to the hell?

Yes .. it's been fairly quite on the boards for a while now. There are supposedly moves afoot to merge all the Simply... sites into a single community. Not sure of any timescales for this happening mind.

I think the LW community in general is slowing down though ... I've noticed on quite a few of the mailing lists I subscribe to that there's nowhere near as much action as there used to be.

Hopefully it just means that folks are going elsewhere (that way they can always come back) rather than abandoning LW.

Bueno, mientras se puebla esto, estoy estudiando Maya. Exactamente 15 años después de mi primera animación en LW (julio de 1993) No está nada mal.

I still drop in once in awhile. There's not much going on, and I guess LW had been dropped in the challenges :hug:

I'm currently facing a hiatus due to real life getting on top of me. I've been given my marching orders on my current flat so I've only got so long to find a new place...not much time for doing much else right now. Plus I have a couple of other major life changes to tackle as well at the same time. All good fun.

As for the challenges, yeh ever since Mike stopped doing them, we've been forgotten. I think the last compo didn't really have any entrants from us due to it being more of an fx based comp which nobody here seemed to have interest in. I tended to prefer the modelling comps better. It seems again that we're the forgotten ones.
