How can I do lightning ? Which plugin can i use ?

Best place to look for this stuff is on Flay.com. Not sure whether you want a commercial plug-in or a free one. But if you go there it gives you a whole bunch of plug-ins on practicly anything.

I found a script for trees.It works pretty for lightning too. Treecage

just go to www.bearshare.com and download the free version of that, and then in the search bar type in Lightwave, and you get an UnGodly amount of returns for many many many plugins

I remember a tut on the newtek site on doing electricity and animating it. This could be used for lightening as well, not sure where it was maybe in the tuturial section but i remember him using a 2 point poly chains with a displacement map, parented to a null object and some glow parameters. sorry couldnt be more help
