Default riggin flower

i want to rig a flower with ik-bones and cloth simulation ,

dunno if this is gonna work , but my questions are,
does the bone need to be in the same layer as the object ?

is it recommend to put the steel and the petals in different layers
because of the clothsim ? otherwise i put the cloth on the whole flower ?

hi...

first... Draw skelegons in modeler ... When making skelegons have in mind how they (bones) work. Draw them in new layer
and set your flower layer as refference. when you finish making skelegons place them all in flower layer... Then after finishing go in Vertex paint... in "Weight" tab go to "Calc" tab and set falloff : "Distance ^32". Press Calculate... Close Vertex Paint like any other window (by pressing X buton in top left corner). You`ll be asked to save changes to VMAPs... Press YES... I think that for animating a flower, that is enough..

Save your object and send it to layout... select the object and convert skelegons to bones... Aplly IK and start animating...

When finish reply to this post... (to continue)

i'm done with riggin the flower , but the flower doesn't respond to the bones itself ,

the bones are working perfectly with ik , the bones are in the same layer as the bones, and the bones refere to the object
'self'

Did someone else experienced the same problem with L8 ?
