City Medling
I am working on modeling a city from scratch, not using City Gen or anything. Just need it for a back drop. How dimension shoul I use so it doesn not look like a miniture. I am running into that problem.
Do I control that in layout, with the camera or do I model at the correct dimensions in modeler. Help. Pretty much my models right now looks like a miniture city. lol Thank you. I am using lightwave 7.0 |

It shouldn't really matter what scale you model it to as long as your textures and all detail are also to the correct scale.
Personally I'd model it at 1:1 scale if possible - since there's less chance of screwing something up later. The other thing to take not of is how your camera is set up (and your DOF settings if using it) since getting this out of whack will definitely make it look as though you're shooting through a macro lens... |

Well, When I model the City I will show you snap shot of it.
with cameral angle, then maybe you could help me fine tune the camera settings. I want a shot looking at the city at a distance. Thank you |
