hi,
Does anyone know how to stop my characters leg rigging from tweaking inward at the knees. I've followed Timothy Albee's book Character Animation to the tee and set up my rigging 4 times from scratch with the same results. It's got to be something simple I'm overlooking. |

Hi there,
I assume by tweaking inwards, you mean that it is snapping backward against the motion of the joint? If that is what the problem is then a combination of modeling the skelegons with a slight bend in them to give lightwave the preferred angle and also setting up rotational limits with the motion panel on the lower leg should sort it out. If this isn't what you mean, then sorry, i've no idea how to help ![]() |
