I'm playing with various techiniques to move the lava around in my lavalamp trying to make it act more like the lavalamp on my real life desk
![]() An obvious solution I wanted to try is to have a wind effector moving the lava up, then just switching the wind off when the lava has got to where i want it and letting gravity pull it back down. ...But I can't seem to turn the wind off...its either in the scene forever or not at all. Anyone know how to switch this thing off and on? Thanks for any hints! |

Thanks for the tip, I'll try that out
![]() Out of curiosity, can the effector be animated/switched on and off...anyone? |

Thanks for the replies people
![]() Just one question tho, what does "give it un envelope" mean Kvaalen? Was it was what Philip hinted - reducing power of the effector with the 'E' button? |
