Think overall,,, LW has the strong point in modelling,, and Maya for the character animation stuff. Thats whats coming to my mind from talking to friends and reading interesting stuff all over the net.

Well Im back. After trying maya I gave it back, Lightwave for me.
Reasons. 1. Felt like I had 0% modeling control compared to lightwave 2. The setup and style of it. 3. Animation ???? what the? I couldn't even get the kind of control on that neither. 4. The overall feel just wasn't there I don't know it looked and felt like a kids toy. If my reasons don't make sense im sorry I guess im blind and can't tell the difference but im sticking with lightwave. Thanks again. |
