I like it. She kinda looks like an alien from the back.

Another small update - built up the whole neck and shoulder area and have started connecting the back and front a little. My lack of knowledge on how to approach spline modelling has reared its head and bit me though. I'm having real problems attaching the front and back and I know its going to be a big problem when I'm doing so properly - going to be a lot of bandsawing and trying to align polygons correctly so they meet up. ARRGH!

@Johnny9ball - yep - creepy looking isn't it - but I've been working off a Da Vinci sketch of the back muscles and they are about right apart from the odd weird dip here and there.

thatnx for the suggjestions on my character, I will give them a shot but this is the first time i have really tried to detail a character, all my other characters were very cartoonish with lots of round parts. I cant wait till i can draw like how your character is coming along! very nice i can't wait to see an update!!!

Hi Koots-
Actually this is my first spline model - I just wanted to see if I could get my head around this method of modelling rather than the point by point method that I'm used to working with. The model is going through some *Serious* overhauling at the moment because I wasn't at all pleased with how the back was coming along - it just wasn't curving right and it was almost impossible to connect it up with the front. I am still working on it though so an update will come along sooner or later. If I ever do finish it, I may well post it up here so people can download it and have a look at the spline cage and study how I've put together the muscle groups - but that might be a while in coming. Thanks for the comments
