Hello again
![]() I was wondering if there is any way to rig using : layer 1: the skeleton layer 2: the mesh ive try but i cant ,ive set up weightmaps for everithing but there is no way.The idea of doing this is to use the rig for several models.I know i can export the rig now but For testing pourpuses its easier this way. Some hint?another way to do this?(the question is game oriented cause i need to export only the rig when ive finish the animation). Thanks again.:o |

Well I think I understand your question. (assuming you have already converted skelligons to bones) Try having your mesh slected in layout and go to your bone properties on the top it says use bones from slect your layer your bones are in, that should tell you mesh (layer1) to be effected by your bones (layer2). hopes this is what your looking for.
Aso you can have you bones in your mesh layer and it will auto effect your mesh, then when your testing is done go to modeler and hit w to go to your stats list, go to the layer your mesh and bones are in and hit the + sign by skelligons in the stats window it will slect only the skelligons and not the rest of the pollys. |
