Default Lighting suggestions

I'm working on a fictional chick-lit book cover (second one I've done) and so far have come up with this...

I'd like some suggestions on lighting.

It's supposed to be at night, but I can't seem to get something that I'm happy with.

Any help appreciated

Thx!

btw: if anyone is interested in the palm tree, it only took me around 5 minutes to model. I'll let you know how if you want.

Try the old tried and true method used in film - turn all your lighting right the way down and use a deep blue light as your main source of illumination. Then add fills as you need them to create ambience....
